Anderson is an artist and college professor. Anderson's teaching includes digital illustration, web design, technology for artists and an Art History lecture course concerning art and mass media. Anderson has been creating sculpture and public art since graduating with her Masters in Fine Art in 1980. She is the recipient of numerous grants, awards and public art commissions.
Each year, Anderson creates a writing journal for women. The journal includes illustrations, meditations, and envelopes for each lunar month. It is available by request via email.
